These Terms of Service govern your use of the idaWorks platform. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

By creating an account or using idaWorks, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

idaWorks provides a quality assurance platform for managing checklists, digital signoffs, and compliance tracking. The service includes web and mobile applications for capturing, verifying, and reporting on project quality data.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Share your account credentials with others

5. Intellectual Property

The idaWorks platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by idaWorks and protected by intellectual property laws. Your content remains yours, but you grant us a license to store and process it to provide the service.

6. Data Ownership

Data created within organizational workspaces (checklists, inspections, photos) is owned by the organization. Individual users retain ownership of their personal account information.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect service availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

idaWorks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by following the account deletion process.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
